Simon Martin has completed the signing of goalkeeper, Zach Ward, for the 21/22 season.
Zach is a top quality keeper’, who didn’t concede a goal in the league last season and becomes Martin's sixth signing of the Summer.

In last season’s COVID affected campaign, he started all 7 games for his previous club, Worplesdon Phoenix, impressing the boss so much, he decided to sign him for Dial Square.

Martin says “Zach is a quality young keeper who I have kept an eye on for a long time.

It was great to hear from him this summer and for him to show his loyalty to me after I tried to sign him a few times in the past.
It’s faith in me and the club that he’s come to join this great project at Dial Square FC.

He is a big part of the core of this team and brings great competition which every club needs.

He’s a top keeper who is ambitious to win things, and a lad who just loves enjoying his football, which was a big decision for him this season”.

With great praise already, the boss concluded “Zach is a keeper that just keeps getting better and better! He is a great shot stopper, reliable, good from set pieces and very confident in his ability which is important in being a strong Keeper.

I hope he settles at the club and is with us for a long time as we climb the leagues, as I feel he can easily be playing higher. So, I hope that's with us.
