Brown looking to extend unbeaten run

Dial are back on home soil this Saturday (16 November) when they entertain Keens Park Rangers in the Surrey Premier County Football League. 2pm k.o..

It will be the second meeting between the two sides in three weeks following Dial's 7-3 win at Pyrford Cricket Club ground last month.

Dial boss Steve Brown will be hoping his side can continue where they left off against Bagshot, which saw Dial net six goals with just one in reply to extend their lead at the top of the table to six points.

Brown is expected to field a strong line-up for the visit of Rangers, with Louie Rogers and Dylan Aversiss likely to come into the squad for the absent Will Neville and Noel Fortune. Aidan Doran also remains doubtful, along with Arnie Linturn, who is not due to resume training until next week.

Speaking to DialSquareFC.com, Brown said: "There are no easy games in this league, but I think we'll move the ball much better at home than we did the last time we played Keens Park [Rangers].

"The playing surface at Alwyns Lane lends itself to getting the ball down and playing attractive football. History tells us that we always perform better at home, albeit we have scored more goals away from home so far this season.

"The players know not to overcomplicate things; it's about doing the basics consistency well, which they have done in recent weeks. When they do that, they look like better players, which they are," added Brown.

For supporters and football enthusiasts travelling to Alwyns Lane by train, the nearest rail station is Chertsey, which is a c. 15-minute walk (via Guildford Street and Windsor Street) to the ground. You can plan your journey here.

For those travelling by car, Alwyns Lane football ground offers very limited parking, which is principally for players and match officials. Therefore, spectators are asked to park with consideration in the neighbouring residential streets.
