Brown travels light to west London.

Dial could move into the top three in they beat AFC Cubo on Saturday (14 September) in the Surrey Premier County Football League (3:15pm k.o.).

After registering a 2-0 win against former Combined Counties Football League side Bagshot last week, Steve Brown will be hoping his side can make it back-to-back wins and keep another clean sheet.

However, The Dial boss has been dealt an 11th-hour selection headache for the trip to Chiswick with no less than nine squad members, including captain Will Neville, unavailable.

It's the latest predicament for Brown who has yet to name a full-strength squad since last season. Added to which, it will Dial's first competitive match on a 3G pitch since they beat Manorcroft United 7-2 in a league game at Addlestone Moor back in February.

After three successive promotions, Dial have already proved that they can hold their own on the first rung the English football league system with wins against Cranleigh and Bagshot. And three points against Cubo with a depleted squad would send a strong message that, whether rain, sleet or shine, Dial have what it takes to be promotion contenders.

Despite the personnel shortfall, Brown was given a boost in midweek after securing the signature of 24-year-old forward Balai Antonio Dembele from Beaconsfield Town, who could come straight into the squad to bolster Dial's ranks.

Speaking to DialSquareFC.com ahead of the trip to west London, Brown said: "I have previously worked with [Balai] Antonio at Camberley and Frimley Green, so I know what he can bring to the table.

"With so many players out, we are light on numbers to put it mildly, so it will be a real test against a very good Cubo side. It may require a few players to play out of position, but that's par for the course; you always have to expect the unexpected in football and be ready, as best as you can, for all eventualities.

"Regardless, I expect the players available to give 100% with the aim of coming away with three points, which I know they are capture of doing," he added.

For supporters and football enthusiasts travelling to Quintin Hogg Memorial Sports Ground, a travel guide is available here. There is no admission charge for this fixture.
