The club would like to give a very warm welcome to Andy Tarrant, who becomes Simon Martin’s 7th signing since taking over the reins of Dial Square Football Club.

In his first words since joining the club, Andy had this to say; “I’d heard nothing but good things about Simon since he went into management. When we spoke, he was very passionate about the challenge and where the club wants to be.

The chairman has done a fantastic job in setting up the club and, giving it the platform for success on and off the pitch.

It’s a great opportunity and the challenge was just too good to turn down. I’m looking forward to playing in front of the fans and seeing where we can go this season.

Every adventure has to start somewhere, so who knows where we will be in a few years' time? I’m excited to be part of the journey and I hope to play a big part in the future of Dial Square”

Andy brings over 10 years a experience of 'Combined Counties' football, playing for clubs such as Farnham Town, Godalming Town and Ash Utd.

Talking about his new signing, Simon says “Tarrant is another great addition to the side.
He’s another versatile player who can play centre-back or, in the midfield. He loves to compete, he is strong, fit and very confident with the ball at his feet.
He is a great organiser on the pitch and a leader, which is very much needed to bring this new side together.

Tarrant has been playing at step 6 for last few years at Ash Utd, Godalming Town and most recently, Bagshot. So, as you can see, he’s a great addition to the team with good experience and knowledge of the game.

Andy, like Jack Leighton’s ability to play in a couple positions, is really important for this fresh new squad as we keep moving forward.

After meeting Tarrant he really bought into the project at Dial Square and he can't wait to get going.
It's great that he has chosen us and committed to us in what is shaping up to be a very exciting season ahead.
